IMPORTANT NOTICE - Colatron's now on Hearthis.at - SoundCloud is DEAD!

Ladies and Gents, I have an important announcement. As some of you may or may not be aware, the Good Ship SoundCloud is about to take a right in to a massive copyright iceberg and she's going down anytime soon. Many of my friends and peers have already been taken down, and now it transpires even I'm not untouchable ;)

I've received my 3rd strike recently and as such, anyone seeking me out on SoundCloud will be faced with a "User not found" screen.

The good news is though, all is not lost - I've a mirror page over at

These boys seem to have their heads screwed on and openly embrace mashup culture, for now at least. The double good news is that many of the tracks that SoundCloud had taken down over the years can still be found here, so aside from my harddrive and the die hard fans out there, this is where you'll find the most complete collection of Colatron tracks on the web.

Be sure to point your browsers to

https://hearthis.at/Colatron/

And don't forget to hit BOOKMARK. I may not churn out tracks to the levels I used to, but I've still one or two tricks up my sleeve ;)

To anyone who ever clicked play on my SoundCloud and to those that downloaded for their music player of choice, I thank you sincerely, you took what was a hobby for me and made it something important and for that I thank you eternally.

Please share with your social media Cola-fans, spread the word, CLT lives!

Thank you for your continued support.
Andy

Une Bonne Erreur (the video)

Another day, another simply fantastic video kindly made for me by the ever brilliant TravAlma, this time him providing gorgeous visuals as the backdrop to one of my personal fave things that I ever did make - the womwomwom folktronica of Une Bonne Erreur.

Be sure to check it out below (and marvel at a host of folk I would quite happily marry tomorrow) and give Travis some love - he really is knocking these clips out of the park.

Crumplstock 2015

So Cola-fans, considering after Sleight Return all those years ago, I said I'd never make another full length mix again (the last one damn near broke me) - I've done gone made another full length mix again. When my boys and girls of the Crumpl Crew put together a HUGE line up of an online Internet DJ Festival, along with the heads from the Vinyl Injury Unit with their own brand of hip hop madness, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

However, as you may or may not have seen, my 'style' isn't exactly in line with the Crumplbanger sound! So hopefully I've put the emphasis on Banger, with just a touch of Crumpl here and there (cheese FTW!).

Featuring everything from downtempo to ambient, via retrowave, 80s cheese, breakbeat, electronica, chillstep, drum and bass, liquid and trip hop, just 'cause... 18 new Colatron tracks (well, 17 and one re-edit of an old fave)...

If you build it, they will come - Crumplstock 2015

A Misspent Youth: The Video

Hey Cola-fans!

I'm currently beavering away here in the Mash Cave, seeking out new inspirations in some vain attempt to come up with something new. As someone who prides himself on hitting deadlines, this may be quite the struggle...

In the meantime, here's something marvellous that a Cola-fan made for one of my contributions to the fantastic London Grammash album from a few months back (what do you mean you don't have your copy yet!!)

Show TravAlma some love people - judging by his other videos he's made, he has awesome taste in mashup producers!

A Misspent Youth

Lazerhawk - Interstellar
London Grammar - Wasting My Young Years

Will be back soon, maybe!

Whole Lotta Bass - the Video

You may remember a little number I threw together for last year's Mash of the Titans vol.3.

Well, my mate Panos T has gone and made a rather bloody ace video for it...

Whole Lotta Bass

The Funk Hunters (ft. SkiiTour) - Whole Lotta Drop
Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love

Unstable

So the retirement continues with another new track...

I recently discovered and fell in love with the hard-hitting wonky trip-hop goodness of the Australian Ableton maestro Flume so imagine my joy when I stumbled across some source stems for him. Whilst I love the whole debut album, standout track for me was undoubtably "Insane" so to have the stems for that track, there was only one vocal I could whip over the top... #PlayingTheObviousCard

Apologies in advance; you all know my unspoken rule of using studio quality pellas at all times unless absolutely unfeasible (i.e. because they don't exist!) - well, this is one of those occasions where I broke my own rule. So it's a wee bit rough around the edges but hopefully if you crank it up enough, no one will notice.

Unstable

Flume - Insane
Gnarls Barkley - Crazy

Next - you won't see me for a couple of months. Got me a mix-challenge that's going to involve some major getting my 'arris in to gear.
